Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, Naples

A nationally accredited zoo & historic garden, the Naples Zoo is open daily at 9:00 a.m. and the last ticket is sold at 4:00 p.m. Zoo grounds close at 5:00 p.m. Arrive early and allow four to five hours to enjoy all of the shows, the cruise, gardens, and animal exhibits. This state-of-the-art water park features a family pool, Tadpole pool for children 6 and under, Turtle Cove pool for kids 5 to 12, a lap/diving pool and Sunny's River, a lazy river attraction with five water slides. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Key Largo

A short 3 1/2 hours drive across Florida from Naples, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park was established to protect and preserve the only living coral reef in the continental United States. The Park has snorkeling & scuba tours, glassbottom boat tours, as well as rental boats, camping, and a 30,000 gallon saltwater aquarium. The Park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until sunset. Naples is located on the Western edge of the Florida Everglades. Explore the beautiful, rugged, subtropical landscape found in the Everglades and the Ten Thousand Islands. The Rookey Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is where you can enjoy nature at its finest!
